Organic Plain Rooibos Tasting
Rooibos grows on the slopes of the Cederberg mountain range in South Africa. Although it is often mistakenly called "red tea" in Europe due to its red colour, rooibos is not actually tea. Caffeine-free and rich in antioxidants, rooibos undoubtedly has many benefits to offer... But this beautiful, amber-red infusion also reveals a very smooth, woody flavour that can be enjoyed plain or enhanced with spices or fruits.
Preparing Organic Plain Rooibos
Infuse 15 to 20g of rooibos in one litre of water (or one tea bag for a single cup) for 7–10 minutes at 100°C.
An Organic Herbal Tea
Our Plain Rooibos is made from ingredients grown through organic farming. The European organic label guarantees that the products comply with the European Union's organic farming regulations, which are based on the prohibition of synthetic fertilisers and pesticides.
