Chocolate Black Tea Bubble Tea Tasting
The intensity of chocolate pairs beautifully with the freshness of fruit. So there is no need to hold back! Choose your favourite flavours and prepare delicious fruit boba bubble teas with cocoa notes. For those looking for an extra treat, a splash of milk adds a lovely touch of creaminess to your bubble tea recipe.
Preparing Chocolate Black Tea Bubble Tea
First, infuse 12 to 15g of tea in one litre of water for 3–5 minutes at 100°C.
Allow the tea to cool slightly before pouring it into your glass. Letting the temperature drop ensures you won't crack your glassware if you are using a glass. Furthermore, sugarcane straws can warp if the liquid is too hot (they withstand up to 90°C), and stainless steel straws can burn you if you have opted for that model. There are plenty of good reasons to enjoy your drink warm, but not scalding!
Add 30 to 50g of your chosen fruit boba pearls (mango, strawberry, apple, raspberry, etc.) to your tea. You can top it up with a bit of milk and sugar according to your preference.
Tip: You can absolutely replace the fruit popping boba with traditional tapioca pearls!
